Call to Faith textbook series is deeply rooted in Church Tradition. In its dependence on and faithfulness to both the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the General Directory for Catechesis, it remains true to the magisterium, or teaching office of the Church, and draws from the following sources of Catholic wisdom: Scripture, Doctrine, Lives of Saints and People of Faith and Cultural Customs and Celebrations.
Call to Faith is creative and versatile. It provides children with opportunities to learn in a variety of ways.
- The Gathering Experience welcomes the children to CFF and introduces the lesson of the day.
- The Primary Lesson presents the main teaching in Chapters 1 and 3 of each Unit.
- Special Presentation will present the lesson in Chapter 2 of each Unit.
- The mediums of music and art enhances the multiple intelligences of the learner.
- Celebration will focus on prayer and prayers and the saints and people of faith.

Saint Vincent Basilica Parish is committed to partnering with parents and guardians to develop households in which the faith is shared and lived with vigor. Toward that end, the faith formation efforts are designed the family and household in mind. The program provides many opportunities for families to enrich their children's learning experiences.
